Cabaradio is a unique combination of spoken-word poetry and revue.
The Action Poets of Litkicks.com and the Washington DC area
Renegade Theater Company have joined forces to present this entertaining evening.

Litkicks is an online community of writers dedicated to the written and spoken word
with members from all over the world. Levi Asher is the proprietor of this site
which is the virtual equivalent of the City Lights Bookstore or the The Villiage Voice.
From time to time the members of this unique community gather to perform their work.
Events have been held in NYC and other cities in the US and participants
have come from many states and countries to perform.

The Litkicks Action Poets will be featured at this performance of Cabaradio.
There will be individual spoken word performances and the grande finale will be
Levi Asher conducting the Litkicks Poetry Orchestra.

Musical and dramatic interludes will be performed by
Renegade Theater Company under the direction of
Broadway's Laurie Gilkenson. Renegade Theater is a fresh new
theater company that debuted in 2003 with a production of
The Rocky Horror Show at the Warehouse Theater in DC.
