When you are my age
You begin to see life
Realize what is important
And what is not
My wife may be turning grey
But she is more beatiful
Than the day I met her kiss
Made me a better man

Before her i couldn't live
Without drugs and alcohol
Now i know there is no better high

Something as simple as gas escaping
Brings the singing sound of her laughter
Makes me realize we are all human
How can she find gas funny?
Well, she does.
Makes me want to kiss her sweet lips
One more time while I still breathe

Its a fault
I know I have
Yet when I think

I too have seen how magnificent and powerful a glance from a woman is. It can be so destructive and healing all at the same time. Rendering a man to such vulnerability. Powerful poem.
