It is so hard to express how sad I am at the (possible) news of judih and gadi... For once, I have no words.

Poetry for those that HATE

awoke with a start
hate is infectious
opinions rampant
and yet
no thing changes

every earthly disaster
breeds contempt
plagues, wars, differences
and yet
nothing changes

faces on the tube
spouting wisdom
"our side is the best!"
and yet
hang change

yin yang goes round ...

Well, since I live on the border (in which happens to be consistently one of the "safest" cities per capita in the nation) and every day I can see our sister city Juarez from my perch on our deck, I guess I might be entitled to speak to this issue (besides having nothing else to do at the moment ...

Wow...thank you. I think I should do the same because...there are those days that I do forget to take my own advice.

That article pretty much says it all Mark. "Of all the mammals on Earth, 96% are livestock and humans, only 4% are wild mammals..." Like any mutation (which we are), we are changing our environment to suit us but stupidly, we are hastening our own demise.

The LONG view is what Stephen Hawking's brilliant mind took in account and many of his warnings/predictions about the future should certainly be considered by any thinking being. We are now in the age of Anthropocene (human accelerated caused environmental change) and our and all other species ...
