Re: are u ready for some football?

I bartended all through college. Neighborhood type place. Great cliental. Good folks. Loved every minute of it (except cleaning the toilets). Always closed up, poured myself a draft, played MY music on the juke and played a couple of games of Donkey Kong.

Photography / Artwork

Not sure this is where I should post this but...

just wanted to let folks know how much I appreciate the multitude of artwork that spins throughout this site. Refreshing. And I look forward to seeing what pops up.

With No Apologies

She disappeared on a Friday morning with a flock of Monarchs left the bare wooden floors of her three room apartment for Illinois, or maybe Missouri, no one was really sure no message, no note, nothing for her father but an empty bottle of shampoo and her bicycle in the middle of the living room Whe...

"Hey buddy can you spare a wind chime…"

Found poetry is one thing. Found music is also out there if we take the time to really listen (e.g. a woman's soft laugh, a Cardinal at dusk, the drone of the city, the grandfather clock in my foyer at 3 am).

Enjoyed this. Thanks for posting.

Oh, it's a good thing, TJFlowers80.

From "An Affair to Remember" to "All That Heaven Allows" all the way up to "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

It's a very good thing.

Re: Three am

Thanks for the comments here. My local email writing group has been having a good discussion w/this topic lately. Doreen's poem got me thinking about it. @revolution: I do think that some poets do "try" to hide in their poems though. Influences the end product, I think. I know a couple from another ...

Re: 4am to 5am

I will PM you with a couple of places (theater websites) that would love to read your stuff. Most of them are free (always stay away from ANYONE who wants to charge a reading fee).

Any good actress would have a field day w/this stuff.

Re: Intertwined

I always feel like renting and watching a 50's romantic movie when I read your stuff. "An Affair to Remember" or something alike.

Warm. Dreamy. Debora Kerr-like-esque.
