The Letters Never Read
The paper before me
The books that hold more
The letters he my never see
For fear of rejection at my door.
Both old and new
Loves hold reborn
My heart at sight askew
And dreams before the dawning morn.
Sunrises, sunsets and starry nights
Together we've watched so many
Each time my heart soars with ...

Re: ask the poem
And my heart bears witness to a poet of all poets
For this tide, here and now my heart beats,
I leave my breath within the wind
Longing for a familiar rhythm with no rhyme.
This is brilliant. I want to hang it on my wall. Thank you for this, a relaxing un rhyming flow for the end of this stressful ...

Re: destroy all clowns
Clowns on the rise
Lockdown in schools
Nussances travelled from afar
Now migrating to dearest Nashville.
Come now painted man
Take off your disguise
Leave our children be
Go back to those "silly antics"
We miss the old
With the fun nose and floppy shoes
Oh those good old days
Where there were ...

Re: the poems I lost
For we, the poets,
Lost poetry is inevitable unfortunately
Some say they must've been irrelevant
Surely they jest.
Know they not the significance
Of the unfortold hope that could've been
Or the tear that'd been shed
Or how about the possibility of a life changer.
Time and again we loose poems ...

October Night
Oh October night
Perfect breeze blowing in
Perfect sunset light
Leaving calm within.
Slow long drive
To make my heart mine
Looking to do more than just survive
As I seek the heartbeat in time.
As a turtle crawls, colors slowly turn
Slight autumn arrives in hues
Yellows of gold and reds of fires ...

Re: It Was Snowing When You Looked Outside
Only we know our own heartache
Though the pain for others is the same
But only we know what it'll take
To drive us completely insane.
So now we must look the part
In order to survive the night
Time to take back our hearts
And fight to find our own light.
For we need not someone to hold
If only to ...
