i jet ski, but yet sea
holds a deep sunk dread for me
ever since, in a wince
i saw unc fred set free
by a shark. saw the spark
dim in disbelieving eyes
as his head went to bed
in the beast in galled surprise
and none too spry, and in reply
to my frantic futile screams
he vaguely muttered, gurgled ...

were a rock band down in the pits
till a promoter named Pete
met them out on the street
busking for peanuts and writs.
Mr Grunt foresaw their potential
for which they were most reverential
