ghosts that rise
on heat wave mirages
wait for years
to go for a swim
in a ghost lake

rain here
no little efts
just slugs

upheaval
springs eternal
dance step

with each bud
that opens
a new surprise

new leaves
too soft to
rustle

wonderful time of year, reborn again

my cancer team
so tough and together
their caring and cooperation
incredible
hope to never need them again
but miss the commitment
the team spirit

healing thoughts to all

windows that close
and the doors that open
made me stronger
as I got weaker
the light at the end of the tunnel
warms my heart
and I turn my face
to the sun

no matter how many
wash 'em every day
still more tomorrow
