clarification:

I hope nobody mistakes my discourse here as being self-righteous
I'll lie to you in a heartbeat if it's necessary

As they say, to err is human, so we all do it, from time to time, and there may even be times when we can justify the occassional lie, but I think the journey we set ...

You have to feel a little bit sorry for someone who lies without even realizing it. It indicates either ignorance, stupidity or self-deceit.

I'm going to put on my Mr. DevilsAdvocate hat here...

Is ignorance a defense?

& are the really ignorant?

Did they have an opportunity to discover the ...

Poor Billy Bigg thought he was an honest guy, but he failed to understand that those vile comments he got from that mother were more honest than his comments which could have been prevented is only he had kept his mouth shut.

There's a huge difference between diplomacy, and a lie.

Had Billy ...

any organism will seek reward and avoid pain

That's my view also, we learn (not necessarily from an individual, but from experience) to lie, when we are young.

It's one of the reasons I see a liar as a coward, as he's more concerned with avoiding the "pain" than with his responsabilities, and ...

Obvsiouly I assume you're talking about serious lies, and not the little white lies, like "Hun, you look fine...", if that's what we're talking about, serious, manipulative liars, then I think liars are the lowest of the low, I despise them.

A guy can scream and shout at me, or trade punches with ...

Re: Mortality

I didn't know either of them very well but that's not the point.

You don't need to know them well, it's the wake up call they are carrying, that we all know, far to well.

I had two "friends" last summer, I call them friends, but they were people I knew from school, one of them I couldn't stand ...

You guys are all hijacking my thread.
Don't make me get rough with y'all...

It's God's thread now!

Rejoice with us brother!

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
leaning on the everlasting arms;
what a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning ...

Goodbyeeeee!!!

You...
Sucked the life out of me
Killed my every waking...
I...
I?
Eye for an eye?
Turn the other cheek?
Papers were served
But they didn't seem to change the hurt
They didn't free me
Release me
Set my soul to rest...
& I don't understand it
I mean...
I loved you
You loved me
We were Bonny and Clyde ...

I wrote a poem about God in my sleep last night

It started

Shalom
Shalom
won't you please come inside?

But I can't remember the rest of it.

There was a line about a little boy who cried, and mentions of serphim's, and cherubim's, and a line about succubus, and incubus, but not enough remains, to ...

Just a observation of my own.
This thread (discussing or bashing a member) is considered "trollish" in most forums.

That's funny, in my recollection, this thread was started by Nazz to discuss his behaviour, and his regrets, not to bash anyone, and then I followed it up by saying I regreted that ...

As for the homophobia ... again, I didn't read the whole thread.... but what I saw was all of you making fun of how some guys call each other gay just to piss each other off and I thought you all were doing it and joking around about it.

Nope, several deliberate comments, questioning peoples ...
