I met Bob Dylan
I met Bob Dylan in a dream last night. He was 50ish. I was young, 30s perhaps. It was the greatest dream I’ve had in ever so long, his songs filling my heart, and the fact that nobody could tear us apart, all the smiles, the laughter and miles of road we traveled together totally blew me away! Today...

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
I played the spoons in a bluegrass jam band, kept the beat with taps to hands and thighs, while another guy blew on the mouth of a jug, and a washboard rhythm master strummed. We were the percussion section. Played a bit of guitar and plucked a banjo too in my time. All just memories now illustratin...

Re: I Think We're All Pretty Good People
When I was in elementary school hiding under a desk, a drill to prepare for nuclear war (as if a wooden desk could save my life living only 20 miles from DC) I would think about the future, the 21st century, decades later, I was certain there would be no more war and love for mankind would save us b...
My mantra
I can’t resurrect the dead unfortunately. My sister comes to me in bundled faerie lights on my balcony. I’m so grateful she sends her energy to light my night but I kept saying I don’t know what to do I don’t know what to do over and over and it hasn’t done any good Months of crying, lost like a vag...

Re: This Weekend on SpiritPlants Radio
That’s great that you’re doing all this work to broadcast your shows! Just wanted to let you know we only have maybe 10 members who post here regularly so I don’t know how much exposure you’re getting, but probably not much. The “views” are mostly from bots. Please feel free to join the community. T...

Trying to register to post? — Read this
. Hi everyone! I’ve reopened registration which had been closed for 2-3 years due to spambot infiltration. I think I have it set up now so the problem with spambots is solved, for now at least. I’ve changed the board settings so newly registered users who are actually spambots cannot automatically h...

Welcome, winddance!!
Studio8 is very slow too, especially after losing Judih. She’s been an active member and an administrator here for 20 years. What a tragic loss!
I look forward to reading your poetry! Thank you for joining in!

Re: mixing bowl
The problem isn't that they don't know what Im taking,,,,they are simply brainwashed to what the side effects might actually be......they ignore anyrhing anecdotal....and reply largely on what the drug maker tells them side efeects can be, and what the hospital says you should tell the patient........

Hah!! That’s a good thing to weave the memories together! I’m sure most memoirs include woven together memories as well as fictional ones.

Re: Sunday, February 18th —Zoom Celebration of Life for Judih
Steve, I don’t know if they’ll have CC available. I looked it up on the Zoom site and I found out the host would have to turn it on to make it available but it also said, “For a Zoom Room to display captions using live transcription, the meeting host must have a live transcription license.” So, it s...
