Re: The Dangling Conversation
Maybe I can lure myself out...
just maybe.
The verdict awaits.

The verdict awaits.

Re: The Dangling Conversation
I smile.
We shall lean back together
the ebb and the flow of the wave that wanes
and then grows stronger again.
And even if it makes no sense
that does not mean that it
still doesn't need to be said
or not said.
From the sublime to the ridiculous
and back again.
Nice to see you, SadLuckDame.

Re: The Dangling Conversation
Isn't it a lovely tune? It lulls me into a gentle mood.
My notion here is to
correspond silently
and perhaps with no words at all.
For the pressure is off.
One can commune silently
if one so desires.
In whatever manner one chooses.
The voice gone silent;
but still "the dude abides".

Re: Summer's End to Autumn Transition Jam - HERE!
It's a drop in
a drop in the bucket
leading to a pale full.
Easing in, one letter falls
and then another and another begins
till the pathway is littered with them
kicking up a stir
surefooted
the little girl
always close to the surface
rushes in
words ajumble
laughing.

Re: Please drop a poem or writing of any flavour at the door
Hello Hello. :) Thanks for missing me. I don't know why I do this, drop off the face of the studioeight planet, spiraling spiraling out of sight and then plop I'm back again. I haven't been writing much. Nor really reading much. Except for the odd book. It's been a lovely summer, but oh how it flies...

How sad is that
our future epitaph
the nature of our existence
now you see us, now you don't
just a blinking cursor
signifying finality
end to our words
blink
blink
blink
out

It's odd how one becomes so attached to these almost faceless people around here and when you hear that they're gone how it hits you like a real blow to the heart and stomach. Damn.

I've suffered that! Not being able to read anything. Wanting to, but the spirit for it just not there. Not being able to do it the justice deserved. I seem able to dabble a bit now again though. Trying to catch up a bit here and there. Sometimes I just sit like a lump unthinking. Not such a bad thin...

cookies or cheese? Both if you please. Yesterday I opened a delicious Smirnoff Ice, sat outside on the back deck, one of the first real warm days so far, turned on my cd player and listened to the soft sounds of a distant voice reciting poetry. Vicarious orange blossoms scenting the air. Most lovely...

I don't think they live apart. I think they arranged a date night type of thing. Getting all dolled up in their separate rooms and then meeting up at the appointed spot. Just like a date. And then they met up again back at their home. That's my take. Well, whatever it was it was a fine listen. Hepbu...
