Great imitation! I thought you were him! ;)

OK. Bored, lonely, overwhelmed, broke, unemployed.... same old same old. Nothing new here. Did a poetry show with Wireman last week. That was pretty cool. Levi Asher was there... it was great to see him. How are you doing? I saw the photos of your garden art show... wish I could have been there in person.

I've been painting.... some. Need to paint every day. Need $ for canvases and paints. Running low. I might start playing the lottery. Or selling my body. I can't figure out which would be the most lucrative.

:D

ya me too...broke....unemployed..Hemingway once said..."I am totally broke and have never been happier in my life..."...so the garden show was the last..it's just too much work...My health is far from perfect...and the same couple of dozen people show up every year...so goodbye to that idea...i will still do a much smaller version and just invite some friends over...Actually I doubt very much I'll do much more gallery exhibiting either...from now on I'm going after municipalities, interior designers and corporate buyers...Like Jackson Pollock said..."show me the money..."

Howdy, howdy... I'm doing nothing very slowly and drying the
laundry. :) Hope everyone has a happy dominion day and happy fourth!
Our barbeque is already made. Just need to add the sauce and boil
some potatoes tomorrow for the potato salad... Add sauce to make the slaw.
Then, presto, change-o, voila, we have July 4th dinner!

I miss interaction on my column "chat spot", so I'll chat while I can. 8)

hi.
i'm okay. kibbutznik status means not having to think too much about money, at least for now till our kibbutz decides to join a capitalist trend and forego communal salary pooling. ( not yet, but other kibbutzim in the country have switched)

kids okay.
job's okay
been doing new stuff, that's okay.

have to make a puppet - scrounging dumpsters for clean foam rubber - anyone have a cushion or couch they wanna toss my way?

eating vegetables and fruit and beans - gotta say - works for me.

miss live poetry - do my best with net soundfiles.
miss artshows - but saw a cool one in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
Maybe i'll post the clip i made describing it? it's cool except for the mistake i made in the middle mis-identifying the BookBurning 'Bibliotek' piece in Berlin. But the main intent is describing the bizarre piece called The Wedding.

here it is, if you wanna take a look.

Hello to the morning, sunglasses on
Sun beginning to burn the night away, cardinal hiding in the bushes
Pond shows life beneath the lotus, black Koy splashes the surface
Tomatoes beginning to bulge and weigh down the vines, raccoon tracks in the soil
The herbs and flowers scent the forgiven air drifting up to raptors in the blue
Japanese maple in hues of rust against the sky, sun between the leaves
A sea gull flies by screeching for it's morning fare
The crow announces the new day, I know he's well
So here i sit

i haven't taken time for my first cuppa Joe yet so why am i wasting time writing this when i could be waking up my body with a shot of caffeine..? i got going on checking out the Studio's latest posts and tossed out a few replies... seems as tho that was more important than that first cup. maybe it was. i'm going to get that first cup and weigh the difference between writing and drink that first cup of coffee in the morning, which is now in its seventh hour (7:34a.).

be content.

Hello Doreen! Good morning to you and from me, hope all is behaving. :D
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
