A year of admiration for you, Doreen, culminates in a renewal of applause and anticipation of where this new year will lead you. All the best, hugs and love to you

Thanks, everyone. I'm going to pretend I'm still the same age I was in 2011 when the 2011 birthday greeting was posted. Good god almighty, I'm old now! hah!

It was a nice birthday. We cooked out, I played the guitar and bongos and sang with some friends. The kids (my daughter and housemates) mowed my lawn and cleaned the weeds from the gardens plus brought me flowers. Very lovely!

But I'm so glad it's over. I really hate birthdays. *smile*

Thanks again!

I don't know where this year will take me but I best get on with working on my passions.... painting, music, writing, working out. Somehow hitting this magic number makes mortality stare you straight in the eye. I lost 3 friends in 3 months at the beginning of the year and 2 were younger than me.

Life is short. Eat healthy. Exercise. Every day for both. And keep spreading your beautiful Love.

Thank you again!

Love,
Doreen

good to read you, Doreen!!!!!!! :D Sure you´ll do something more intesting & funny with mortality than playing chess, amiga !!!! (and also good to know that you had a good birthday despite you don´t like them!). Gracias for your advices!!!!! Hugs!!!
