Idle No More

Post by Artguy » January 14th, 2013, 5:06 pm

This is worth a look, http://idlenomore.ca/ The native population in Canada is railing against several issues under the government's umbrella. There is one that has piqued my interest and that is the wholesale slaughter of our environment in the name of profit from the goodies beneath the soil....damn them. I wish they would fill in the gaping hole called the oil sands that can be seen from the international space station. Now that the north is warming oil tankers will be finding their way across the arctic ocean, and more holes are slated to be made...there goes the neighbourhood.

A long way from it. Our Prime Minister finally caved to meeting with some of the Chiefs, but the process is only beginning.
