yeah I know - made me look twice too - we getting scary for sure - gave a listen to the song ya posted - good one - on my way down to sign up for early social security - won't be much if I take it now but what the hell, me & poverty been boon companions damn near my whole life and I'm tired of this working shit anyhow unless I can do it part-time without all the damn go-go-go yes sir and yes m'am all for some bored-out-of-my skull J-O-B - me and the world ain't much impressed with one another anymore and it is a freedom & a joy - I'm gonna paddle my kayak, do some painting, talk to people, listen to the wind, do a little bitching now & again when it's called for, flirt with the nurses, even the butt-ugly ones, down at the VA, enjoy myself & everybody else, - have a shot of American bourbon every once in awhile and pray God ain't faking it about what he's said. Later, Jack. 8)

Full time work I would do if I could get a job driving for the Ferrari factory team, or even NASCAR,

Social Security, yeah a plot by that Jew socialist FDR to suck out our bodily fluids. I hope you get it, I sure can not survive without. So much free time I feel like I am working for the WPA.

doing my best to get my shit together so I don't take up so many tax dollars with the underfunded sweetheart deal that "Shrub" cut between Medicare and big pharma and the FDA.
Somehow I can't bring myself to join the AARP. not till there is a organization to lobby for the young'uns.
i been a good hippie, feels good to see my pants hanging so loose these days, my doc tells me he may lighten up on my meds i take for my self inflicted miseries.

Jack - verbiage and herbage Ha - I like that - I used to every day for years 'til that damn stuff got so stupid expensive - i had a knack for getting it to grow good too - but hard as hell to find seeds now - i 've been told it takes two-three months for the SS to kick in so there will be three checks all at once - when they get here gonna be like the monk who bought himself a little and do a bit of celebration on it - the old campaigner - ha

I hear that, Mark - we did earn it - and for as long as breath & health allow me to I'm gonna enjoy it and hope you get to do the same - gonna paint "Mr. No Load from Hell Yeah Mongolia" on the back bumper of my Cherokee too - just for shits & gigs and because I can -

Catch you guys later ...

The trust funds run surpluses in that the amount paid in by current workers is more than the amount paid out to current beneficiaries. These surpluses are given to the U.S. Treasury (and thus become part of the general federal budget) in exchange for special U.S. government securities, which are deposited into the trust funds. If the trust funds begin running deficits, meaning more in benefits are paid out than contributions paid in, the Social Security Administration is empowered to redeem the securities and use those funds to cover the deficit.
—wicki

All the talk about running out is because the trust fund is full of I.O.U.'s the government issued when it raided the funds to support the general federal budget for things like perpetual war.

rant and pant
huff and puff

ten -four earned it. Social Security it is an insurance program, not an entitlement program. Politicians with smooth hands from easy money want to extend the age of eligibility to 70 because Americans are living longer, 70 year old politicians are not seventy year old rod busters. Hard labor like playing professional sports takes more of a toll on a body than working a desk job.

verbiage an herbage

I'm going to get back to my drug of choice
#2 diesel
I will need to pass a D.O.T. whiz quiz for that
if there is one thing I would rather do than smoke dope it is drive
if there is one thing I would rather do than drive it is jam with my high riding heroes
...cutting and pasting from an old country song
"while pursuing the life of my high riding heroes
I burned up my childhood days...
you can die from the cold in the arms of a nightmare...
knowing well that your best days are gone..."

that scene of sal and dean looking at the world through a windshield
they saw everything in a little bit different light
sitting here looking through a windshield
that is:
the world through the looking glass of a 24 inch computer screen.
spontaneous words scroll like black worms across a blank text box

good news for the weary of still trucking's blues
I'll be smoking less dro and scribbling less
truth be told I can leave the words alone when I am not stoned
everyone must get stoned even the man taken in adultery
see ya all later i hope

I have always maintained that the poets own the world and the bankers are just borrowing it for now and the interest is far too low...
