I write in the 1st thought/best thought mode......never set out to be a "Poet", I write to perform and observe....cafe sitting, taking it all in.....no style....no form.....I knew from my experiences with drawing to just sketch what u see and then go for it. My best pieces are written to be performed. That is my aim with what I write down, squeezing out a performance flow. Subjects are varied, whatever hits me hard at the time. It's something I just have to do, I never feel forced, can't wait to get back here and do it, talkin bout the writing..... 8)
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

I don't breathe anymore - complete waste of time - don't write poetry for the same reason - when i write it's because some fit has come over me & i hope it's gonna be some fun because without the fit & without the fun i can't get my thrill -

no fit
no fun
no thrill

that sums it pretty much - i been writing most my life - ever since i was eleven or twelve or some godforsaken age thereabouts - been a compulsion - best times i've had at it is when the words all join up out of nowhere and gangbang me like an express train going by - a complete tribal fuckstorm with the dust scattering - i certainly don't work at it like i once did - like right now i'm not thinking bout what might be next, i'm thinkin bout fried chicken -
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I got the soul of a bean counter
I count my breaths even

Never wanted nothing from poetry
except fame, fortune, and lots of sex.

I have no idea
sometimes I type two lines—

hit the carriage return
and call it a poem.

It can't be that easy
I know.

Yes I am the great pretender
I can't make it so I fake it

I breath In and breath out
just as if I am alive.

Makers of gems
If 1 spews enough.....whatever
The flow will take hold
But u gotta be in it like an idiot
For the long haul
I've loved a handful of women, but I woulda followed any one of em into the abyss....
What's on the mind
Not too topical or trendy
Nothing from the front page
I like to hear my news from the people
Ya know what's up
Read poetry
It became my favorite read in my 40's
Never been one to read a whole novel
Fact is I don't want what I write to be longer than an 8x10 page
Jam is kinda like hitting golf balls for me
Soul surfing
Soul searching
In the moment
An event
Jam makes a hell of a poetry happening
Live it would be better
Enough for now....
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

A word that rhymes with poet
Seed in ink and ready to sow it

What do I want from being a poet? Naught but poetry has already given me.
