I'm presently doing a little sub-rosa contracting, writing software for a guy who's developing a kind of video game for sports bars & the like. I took it on because it seemed like an interesting intellectual challenge (which it has more than proven to be) - but he sees it as the means to wealth beyond our wildest dreams. He's repeatedly offered me a full-time partnership, and quite frankly, I'm not interested. I keep telling him that I can't afford to get any richer than I already am. I owe nothing on my home, my credit card debt is well under $1000 (and it's just a temporary pig I've had to swallow), and I have enough money saved to keep the lights on, oil in the furnace, and food in the fridge - how much more do I really need? Oh, I forgot to mention - he's an ardent Trump supporter. Not to be guilty of profiling, but......
