the truth is not in the sentences
but that wich lies between the lines
between the night and the dawn
prepared to accept the gift of another life another day another chance to love
another train another .......

you live upon a land beset on all sides
who is right when
people
blood in their veins
die like chattel
without sight of agreement
death looms
365
who is right
if everyone only places blame
who may be the victor

lets dissolve the blame
and get to the point of agreement
startin from zero and building trust

ain't easy
takes vision and trust
we can't help our history
we can help our today

i stand firm
what may be taken as truth
melts like the makeup on your face
upon the light of the risinig sun
its naught but adult make believe
corrupted by its own nature
forgettful of why you are
forgettful of what children do
just cuz they want

you live upon a land beset on all sides
oceans
beset by death on everyside, disease, war,
each day another atrocity, another birth, death, despair
yeah live in hope and die in despair
or live in despair and die in hope
no i got to rise above and still flow with it, accept it and fight the good fight,
this day with all the tv stations, radios, telephones, newspapers, they will seat a jury of twelve people who have never heard of michael jackson
what else don't we know

i am begot by your same father
i am begot by your same mother
i am i child of this earth
born like all other
i bear no difference
other than how i am percieved
we all share common ancestry
a thread that binds without thought

on the way
to a better now
make hug, not punch
make hot turkish coffee
not deadly nightshade
simple hints for peace......

so simple i know not what is
confused upon the complications
thrown righteous
left upon right
direction loses meaning
so many are lost
without even being given a chance

o moldyb - who are you?

Post by judih » February 19th, 2005, 9:30 am

lines tossed
grabbed outa desperation
"tell us what to believe"
and the masses hope for response

unmassed and messy
a few brave loners
simply do
simply are

hoping to walk the lineless dimension
where all speak one language
called "let's get it together"

i breath deep
upon this ageless wind
and the chaos that defines it
it is that which fills my sails
that life in its simplistic complexity
may not be controlled
by some silly ass scared old men

einstein was an old man
ram dass is an old man
a few good old men

reinforced by each rising sun
do not repent
but give thanks
for each day you wake upon
and just be here now
