Beware insidious black ice glaze
on streets which keep agendas hidden
'neath their laden glacial coat; the notes
once written with a frozen stem as quill
to scratch two names in love
upon the grade;

Beware a thaw at noon, a freeze
again at dusk; each tire grip a trip
to slip and shift, a sneak, a polar
tease; liquidity, mirage, a deadly
slam into an elm – betrayed
like those initials etched to
designate eternal touch,
two hearts once drawn with
walking stick, the thaw,
then freeze, the thaw,
then freeze, black ice
candy glass;

A shattered dream,
a winter trap!
Disaster route!
Oh bring me spring
and robin's song,
I long for resurrection!

Oh, bring me wakening
from deathly frost, protection
from a frigid end!
For spring and love, I long!
Let winter die, be buried,
rise again!

Let mother nature rest for we are strong
to withstand father winter 4 months long.
Lets sip our tea, coffee or the spirit of choice
and sing the praise of poetry with one voice.

A southern boy in the northern cold freezin’
catching a cold wheezin’ and snezzin’
but I will survive
to see the land come alive.
A new birth, a new season
another poem to write with rhyme and reason.

So let enjoy our time of rest
and enjoy the season's best
whiskey on the rocks anybody.

snowflakes under streetlights
fall with the air of angel feathers
sweet as the breath of a girl asleep
carrying the winterdrift deeper
into a midnight crystalline oblivion
echoing along endless tunnels of silence
pillow soft as blushing lips
snowfall
as silent and dark and delicious
as a hidden winter's kiss.

The kiss of snow
I miss it so like a lover long gone
Forever dreaming of peaceful drifts of bliss
yes much like a gentle kiss,
the snow I do miss.

new, crisp, little town
snowless, barely cold on eastern skin
downtown lights, christmas windows
Norman Rockwells ghost smiles inside shadows
people smile filled with jolly spirit
whistling
laughing
what a time of year December is
Fourth consecutive holiday
Fourth consecutive town............

ghosts of seasons past
regnerating relentlessly
ghosts of seasons present
entwining together presently
ghosts of seasons future
tickets towards unchallengable destiny.

I play along
Every year
all that cheer
the dead come back to life
Shake the insidious black ice off their bibles
Down at the everything is a dollar store.
Cause it ain't the gift but the thought
Hard hateful people
Smiling their got you by the balls smile
Going to save your soul or yu will wish you were dead
I play a long
Cause the sky got dark and it blocked out the sun
Cause he forgave them for what they had done
Father forgive us and will forgive you
I play a long
Charlie Brown with Lucy holding the Christmas ball
Cause this time it might me different
On the darkest night a child is born.
Silent night holy night
And in the trenches among the gore
Enemies sing Oh holly night
He made the blind to see and the cripple to walk
Can he make us see that every night is a holy night
Can we for one day?
Stop the killing?
Can we all six billion of us live in peace and harmony for one day?
Yes
All we are saying is give peace a chance.
So I play a long, thinking is there one gift I can give the Christ killers? And I don't mean the Jews.

Do you have your ears on?
You got to listen to the music
Or you are going to get a sock full of rocks
No sweet sugarplums
No jellyroll
No tacos
Unless you are asking Santa for a pity fuk

Howl on wayward son
Cry cry cry
It is one fuked up world
Thanks to your fathers hell
here is a little music for the season without reason

I heard some good news today, gasoline is pretty cheap. But now that the summer driving weather is over and winter is here. By some strange Coincidence heating fuel is at an all time high.
This Dalai Lama guy is touching me. He came into the world an innocent and trusting child just like Charlie Manson, Ted Bundy, and John Lennon.

Poor sad apes that we are, could a baby ape be born, a Christ Child or a Dalai Lama, could one baby save the world
It is dark time of year this Saturnalia, they say it was celebrated with human sacrifice.
How fitting, nail a Jew to a cross
