The Eleven Craziest Things Newt Gingrich Has Ever Said

My personal favorite:
(8) "A mere 40 years ago, beach volleyball was just beginning. No bureaucrat would have invented it, and that's what freedom is all about.” [At the Republican National Convention, August 1996]

speaking of uttered madness, former congressman from colorado, tom tancredo (from the grand old prick party, of course) was recently called out on his statement that "obama is a greater threat than al qaeda"...

some of these people are close to worthless...

All we can do is keep electing them. American politics, it is what it is.

Do you ever wonder how they get elected? Somebody must be voting for them.

Thinking about this quip from Adlai Stevenson:
A supporter once called out, "Governor Stevenson, all thinking people are for you!" And Adlai Stevenson answered, "That's not enough. I need a majority."

Hope hoping hope hopitty hope for the situation to improve. Right now I am hoping for a Martian invasion. That always seems to work out for the best in the movies.

I put Rove down as an evil genuis, right next to Goebbels and Edward Bernays.
I get creepy feeling all over when I see his picture. Worse than Hitler because Hitler is dead so fuck him. but George W. Bush and Karl Rove are walking around rich. They creep me out more.

Don't mind me mnaz,
I am losing heart, if not for your poetry I would have no heroes.

Nietzsche say self loathing is a slippery slope
So I tell myself I am proud to be an Okie from Muskogee
cause when you are running down my country hoss, you are walking on the fighting side of me.
I guess it is too late to surrender to the British at Valley Forge
I want to channel George the III, tell him we want to be a British colony again.

I can't deal with another presidental campaign I need a royal family
I need hats

Vote for Gingrich
Let's make it happen

Explain why anyone would want to vote for Newt Gingrich?...He's that boohole that got the national parks shut down in 1995. That's what got my man, Clinton, re-elected. The best thing Gingrich could do for everyone would be to move back north and open up a hardware store.

Oh,Still Trucking, I forgot, Gingrich would be a good "faux pas" to run against Obama. So, maybe, you are making an "inside joke"... I think Gingrich would lose big time because he's such a chucklehead. I haven't seen any republican that would be able to beat the president. Trump is another laughable chucklehead. Trump is such a corporate shill for the moneyed establishment and a "birther" to boot.

I remember Adlai Stevenson, too. Too bad Ike won those two elections. But
that was then and this is now. Since Obama got Osama and is working on the
deficit, I don't think, at the moment, that any republican may beat him...But
Adlai Stevenson had a point about the "thinking minority". Ha. Look who Dubya got to vote for him. Rubes and goobs...there are plenty of them around here.

my personal favorite was the "contract on america"... oops, i mean the "contract with america." some contract. national parks shutting down. an asinine witch hunt on the president's personal life. and then, continuing onto illegal war, a complete whoring out to large corporate greed, enormous federal red ink, and financial meltdown. yeah, nice work guys...

If the latest comments on Newt are even partly true, his campaign is all but over... but he's doing nothing more than milking the Repubs that support him... it's how he makes his money and he doesn't give a rat's ass if he screws those that support him.

newt gin-grinch has been a bloodsucking, opportunistic leech on the d.c. political landscape for at least a couple of decades now-- the worst kind of bought-out, power-obsessed career politician there is. screw him and his entire sold-out gang of right-wing shit-stirrers, fear-mongers and panderers. he pioneered the science of more finely-honed political buzz-words and buzz-phrases (of strength, as applied to the g.o.p., and of weakness, as applied to the dems), as well as party-wide orchestration of uniform "talking points" and such, beginning in the late eighties. screw that shit.
