It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. -- Aristotle

an important point that suggests conversation is essential to working through differences.....I have come to believe empathy is the key to understanding and ultimately peace......we needn't condone an action to desire to know why it happened, how did the perpetrator come to his decision, what factors shaped his thinking, did my country have anything to do with forming his beliefs ?.....How so ?
If merely we answer violence with more violence, we cannot call ourselves evolved....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Very true, Steve... our thoughts come and go like the weather, some bringing joy and even bliss while others are disturbing while others are even curious. But we must know they are only thoughts and needn't be brought to fruition.

Thank you.

What garbage? Aristotle is total nonsense. I don't agree with him at all! He should not be read.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.
