Objectivism and taxation

Post by sweetwater » February 24th, 2015, 2:50 pm

Ayn Rand's basic or fundamental premise or precept relates to the moral code or the moral question ... She contends that altruism is an evil ... And that self interest is the moral guide called by which we should live our lives, and conduct the affairs of society and community ... It is this dialogue and/or polarity and difference of opinion that relates politically between the left and right ... And it is played out continually as politics ...

Does Self interest relate objectivism as Darwinistic? The contended flaw of her thesis relates the moral ambiguity of her stated philosophy !

... Though she contends that self interest should not be in the context of sacrificing self or others ... The notion of not sacrificing self or others in the context of socialization plays out as politicization ... that the state in itself should not exist ... Be separate much like the separation of church and state ... That state be separate of capital and self interest ... It is the annihilation of governing bodies and oversight in favour of private interest ... It is the separation of state and capital (capital as private control). It represents the privatization of state ... Which translates as fascism ... Where it is clearly In opposition to Marxism and somewhat stated as closer to fascism than a capital structure of social accountability !

There is no indication as to what and how taxation plays a role in her philosophy ... at first glance !
