debate, part 3

Post by mnaz » October 13th, 2004, 10:32 pm

I don't know....

It's not looking too good for Kerry. The problem is..... the perception tends to be that Bush "wins" simply by not screwing up too badly. Hmmmm....

This is one stupid thing about the American people -- if they've already had a President for four years, they are automatically prejudiced in his favor, even if he's screwed up royally.

But, cheer up. Haven't you looked at the internet polls? If not, you should. According to the votes, Kerry won the debate by an overwhelming margin. Something like 2 to 1 in favor of Kerry winning the debate. One poll asked if this debate changed their vote. Of the ones that answered "yes" 19% said they are now voting for Kerry. Only 10% said they are now voiting for Bush. Things will keep changing as the results come in, but it looks good for Kerry, not bad.

Keep hopes up.

3d debate - bush was evasive in many of his answers... he was stupid when asked if homosexuality was a choice... his facial expressions revealed the anguish of his ignorance - and yet, his followers rave and applaud this disgrace of a president.

whatever the outcome will be, America will get what it deserves... no matter what individual feelings may be.
