down to earth,
the worth of a minute,
each change a viable heartbeat
and i repeat the plan it mantra....

don't plan it, just do it!
that's the planet way!
yay!

*clink* a cheer with sparkling wine
HAPPY 2009!

It's the first day of the year.
I feel no magical changes.
Seems the same as yesterday.
But isn't that
so with every day?

What is it with the number of a year
that makes life different, new?
A turn of a calendar page.
A tick of a clock.
Two hands pointing straight up at twelve
and everyone around the world rejoices!
Why?

I suspect the measurement of time
is but an illusion. Everything that has happened
or is happening or will ever happen is happening
all at once.

I also suspect I need psychological help.
Only a crazy person would think such a thing.

Ahhh but since it is you who are doing the measuring
I will measure with you and mark this moment as
a new day, a new year, a new beginning of all things
and wish us all a saner measuring.

Tick. Tick. Turn turn. Two hands hit twelve.
The calendar page has a new number.
Feel brand new for a day or two, why not?
It's a positive attitude. It will serve you well.
And I will join you in the celebration!

I feel my skin soften, my wrinkles fade.
I am but a babe on a brand new day.
Rejoice!

Let the revelry begin!

hey, honey
don'tcha know
not everyone notices the change of the year
it takes some of us nearly 7 months to feel
2 more and we're reborn
new, old, all the same
go to sleep
wake up
a day like any day
might as well come out to play

I'd be amazed if it was anything other than $365.00. ;)

.....

Thanks for playing everyone! Happy New Year!

Although 8 is a great number for our Studio, 2008 wasn't the greatest year for some .... the world's in a mess .... so here's hoping 2009 will be a much better year for all!

Let's make it so!

......

Jam closed until next time. Peace 'n' love.
