The Turkish "Cyber-Hackers" as they called themselves, are probably kids who wrote some code that acts like a worm through the internet to attack bulletin boards like this.

I'm pretty sure we got rid of the entire hack job by reverting to an old database prior to the hack and also by upgrading the software to the newest version and rewriting the hacked files.

I'm not sure the "Cyber-Soldier" member would be part of this or not. I will check it out. 'truck ...... Thank you!

I think the initial worm entered the files a few nights ago when you and mnaz were the only two people online and that's why only yours and his posts were affected. (He was made into an Administrator. I need to do more work today to make sure none of the other member names are Admins because that's probably how the hack worked to get into the Admin area and break through a security problem. I will be working on checking out the entire memberlist to make sure no other names are designated Admin.

The software upgrade is supposed to be safe, without the security risks of the last version of this software.

I just went in and deleted that membership based on your suspician that it had something to do with the hack. There were no posts from that name..... so if it really is a REAL person and not part of the hack, they can come back and try again if they ever want to post.

just a coincidence I suppose, but when I searched for him he seemed to turn up on a number of sites that had been hacked.
