Rotating banners - photography & art by members
Many thanks to eyelidlessness for writing the code so we can have a rotating banners art and photography show at Studio Eight!
.... and also.... for upgrading our software for us, for troubleshooting problems and especially for putting up with me while he did all the hard work.
Thank you, eyelidlessness!

Re: A rotating banner art and photography show!
the banner show is like walking through a beloved gallery. At first i was shocked seeing a new one every time i clicked something new on the site, but now it's like an interesting friend accompanying me through the studio.
thanks to eyelidlessness and you, doreen.
good morning,
judih

judih,
I'm glad you're feeling accompanied by a friend. It's definitely good to be able to show the collection of banners rather than having them hidden in a thread somewhere and only changed every several days or once a week. It does create a different atmosphere .... and it's tending to make me stop clicking so often. Which is maybe good so I'll slow down and think more. I'm enjoying it. It's our new digs. We've rearranged the furniture. But it's still home. Eyelidlessness has done a great job!
Good morning, judih!
... and soon for me... goodnight!

Thank you Eyelidlessness
I been copying and pasting banners all night for my collection.
You really made this old house rock for me.

Re: A rotating banner art and photography show!
I've gotten feedback from a couple of members regarding how fast the banners change, with every click. Anybody have any comments on this? thanks

I just want to praise the great photos in the banners----I have no opinion about the changing but hopefully the photos recur and are not up just once. But love them.

Thanks you guys.
Here's a link to a survey about the banner rotation which ran during the month of September after we launched the feature.
