Re: Attn: Doreen, Need help locking, moving threads
You want me to move that thread where? To your column?
Please be more specific.
Also:
1) Please send future requests via Private Message, as I requested, rather than posting them here.
2) And most importantly, try to post your threads in the place you'd like them to remain so we won't have to be doing this constantly. I don't mind helping but if you post your threads where you'd like them to BE, then they won't have to be moved.
Thank you!

Re: Attn: Doreen, Need help locking, moving threads
Doreen, How do I post a "personal message?" I thought that that was what the Help forum was for.
I'm just trying to get caught up with a backlog of pieces I copied.
I'm going to stop locking them after the Blasting Caps & Some Penny Haiku series are done.
Everything I want moved is requested to be moved to my column. see edited version.
Thanks for your help so far.

Look up top. Click on "messages". They're called "Private Messages".

Re: Attn: Doreen, Need help locking, moving threads
PS.
If you want full control of your pieces so that you can lock them yourself when you're finished with them, always post them in your own personal forums like your column.
If you'd like to have an "Artlog" which is essentially a name I created for a "blog", I can create you one and you would be Moderator and have full control of the pieces you post and all the threads in your Artlog because you would be a Moderator of your own forum and you can lock threads yourself whenever you see fit.
I don't mind doing this for your occasionally. I just don't want it to be an ongoing thing and I don't want a slew of requests from all the members of the forum to do the same.
Therefore, from here on out, please try to post your pieces where you'd like them to remain and if you think you may want to lock them in the future, post them in your Column where you are moderator and can lock them yourself and ask me to create an Artlog for you where you will also have full control of your own content including locking them or deleting entire threads if you want.
Thank you!

Or click on my name (or anybody else's name) to access their PROFILE. And click the link that says "send private message".

Re: Attn: Doreen, Need help locking, moving threads
Thanks, Doreen. I'll just post them in my column or send a personal message after this batch is through. It's hard to scroll back umpteen pages to do this. Bear with me, please.
I will seldom ask this after today.
Here's another couple I need locked: Second to last one is first.

I only see one link. I'll lock it but I only see one link so I have no idea what you mean by "another couple" or "second to the last one is first". Those 2 comments make no sense to me.Steve Plonk wrote:Thanks, Doreen. I'll just post them in my column or send a personal message after this batch is through. Re: Attn: Doreen, Need help locking, moving threads
Doreen, Sorry, I was still in the process of scrolling back & left off on page 48.
I was looking for the last "Some Penny Haiku". I'll try to get you the link as soon as possible. This stuff takes longer than I thought...Hopefully, I will not have to do this again
anytime soon...
Here's the last one to be locked today:
