"Roundscape-- Notes from Space"
Well, my whiskey-shaded desert ramblin’ musins' book is finally up and running on createspace—https://www.createspace.com/3405103, and coming soon to Amazon—a mish mash bundle of notes and adventures stitched together from a long, long escape attempt into the quieter reaches of the American Southwest. It’s my first book effort, so y'all go easy on it! It includes a poem by Dino (constantine) too. Much thanks to Dino for permission to include his work. And Doreen designed and formatted the book. Couldn't have gotten the project done without her considerable help. Thanks Doreen!

Thanks Doreen! I truly appreciate all your help. Studio 8 has been quite an inspiration. Virtually every part of this book was posted here as I came up with it, and much of it was literally written on the road, in motels, in my truck, in coffee shops and even casinos. I added, subtracted and "tweaked" when I got home, but many parts survived nearly intact. This place kind of "goes in spurts," but when it's on, it's really on-- creativity flows. Anyway, much thanks again!

Good point! Forgot to mention that. (jeez, I must have been awfully tired last night). It's called "The Wash"-- a great geologic meditation of the cosmos, capturing some of the things I was trying to say. He wrote it last year.

Awww Mark, how cool is this!!! It is done, it looks amazing, I know I am gonna love it, I do already. I love the desert expanses too, the light, the sky, the empty spaces and I love your treks, your writing has always taken me with you.
Congrats mi amigo! We want an autographed copy for the Litkicks, Studio Eight library that we have amassed. Paid for, of course! We want to support you in any way possible.
We can someday point to the guestroom and say, "Mark the Nazz slept here..."
Great good luck buddy. In the true spirit of Jack the Kerouac, you are on the road.

Thank you Soozen! I am seriously pining for the clear light and space these days (and maybe some warmth)... the weather up here in "greenland" is dreadful. You're right... "on the road" gets to be as much a state of mind as anything else. And writing can get compulsive, can't it? Hope all's well in Phar Lepht!
