I wish he had been at the White House Tuesday night.

The book, "In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect," details instances of "laxness in how they protect" Obama, according to a source at Random House, which will officially release the book Aug. 4.

While the agents assigned to protect Obama and other principals are described as dedicated and valiant, Kessler asserts that in recent years the management of the agency "has betrayed its mission by cutting corners, risking the assassination of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and their families," the publisher says. One current agent tells the author: "It's a miracle we have not had a successful assassination."

Yeah Detroit could use the money. Maybe it is an insurance issue.

I read some excerpts from a book by a retired secrete service agent talking about what some of the agents thought of the presidents they protected.

Heard something about plans for some more spaghetti westerns before he calls it quits.

The setting - A south of the border nursing home.

The Sedated, The Soiled and The Sleeping

A Mouth Full of Drool

Two Drools for Nurse Sara

High adventure, plenty of dangerous banditos, or are they just lounge chairs.

He is eighty two years old, I am 73, I wonder how much sense I am going to make in nine years if I am fortunate enough to still be here.

I'm only in my mid to late 50s and already losing stuff. Every one knows where it is except me. Of course this could be because of something else

Don't get me wrong, I've always enjoyed watching Eastwood movies.

oh yes

me too

My dad an immigrant Lithuanium Jew got addicted to the old black and white tv westerns, Rowdy a hero of my budding ego when I was just a little jackster.
Crazy Mike used to tell me that he thought there was some Tarter blood in us.
A strange trip to be a Jew under the sword of the cassocks. He was grateful to be here in the land of the free and scared shitless.

A good flick,
watched a good video on PBS called "Reel Injun" how natives were portrayed in Hollywood. Interviewd some of the old Navajo actors who appeared in the films, especially the ones from the talkies when they were told to speak "like an Injun" what they were really saying and what the translator was saying was not the same.

I liked Two Stab from legends of the fall

Well long as this the place to complain I would like to complain about what happened to the family fishing ground up in Oregon. jacks my jaws.
higway department claimed they needed it to widen a road, there ought to be a law, but there probably is one :(
