Sorry, I haven't heard anything from anybody the past few days. He's probably still in the hospital. If/when I hear and update, I'll let you know.

Troll took the above photo of Clay when he went to see him.

Clay is feeling well enough to be discharged from the hospital. He will be moving to a nursing home/ rehab facility tomorrow. He can have his computer there. Troll will be helping move his things for him.

He's very lucky to have a friend like Troll.

Reading The Texas Observer this morning, an old issue from November 2011. A guy writing about Molly's "informed subjectivity" when I think about my avatar and need to think positive thoughts about Texas I remember Molly.

I think about the poet's eye. I rejoice in your new computer, I think of what will be. I wish I could drop by to see you, there was a time if I had a 100 bucks in my packet and there was a friend within a thousand miles I could see, I was on the road. Now a days I nailed my shoes to the kitchen floor it seems.

ATLANTA -- A judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta for a hearing on a complaint that says Obama isn't a natural-born citizen and can't be president.

So much going on that needs the attention of the Poet's eye. If not for leap year political campaigns I dont think I could maintain what little sanity I got left.
We need all the comic relief and good humor we can muster

Sorry to be so delinquent in catching folks up. For a guy with no job, my life has been incredibly busy.

Clay is at http://www.doctorshealthcareandrehab.com/, 9009 White Rock Trail, Dallas, TX 75238-3347, room 304.
He is able to be off his oxygen machine for extended periods, is walking a little, and beginning to eat some food by mouth. We've been giving him Oreos and chocolate cupcakes, and he's asking for caramel candy to heat up in milk for hot chocolate. My sister told me I should get him some Ovaltine, so I may do that. He can't have any more medical procedures until he gains some weight. The nurse said 50 lbs., but I think she was joking...

In order to read anything, he has to copy and paste to a document, then blow it up real big, so he isn't reading or writing much. He does have his keyboard and headphones, so he's able to play music.

I wish I can donate you kilos... but unfortunately you have to lose (that´s my caso) or gain them for yourself...! .

Clay's doing much better, walking almost a mile a day with his wheelchair for a walker in case he runs out of steam. Looks like he may have gained a couple of pounds. He's still getting most of his nourishment through a feeding tube. Swallowing is difficult because the radiation burned the crap out of his throat.

He's in good spirits, was even writing a new essay when I stopped by.
