in the search for the best souvlaki
i have taken the matter into my own hands
and, through careful manipulation
in my extra bedroom, success!
a new bovine for you dining pleasure
i give ewe: the lamg
mostly lamb, with a little goat tossed in
both tried and true members
of that happy clan of ruminants
of which i am so enamoured
you may thank me at your convenience

I still can honour a tender souvlaki but with the years I became a five day a week vegetarian (mostly because I can´t stand anymore the after-burn-meat smell in my dept!... yeah, I know it sounds not at all loving-animal like and basically selfish, well...! )

enjoyed your spirals, constantine! :)

the day my dad died
i was living in San Francisco
on a little street that turned
on another little street
that at the end of was a little
steps up a hill that went into
part of golden gate park
the part that was above the Haight
and not below it or on the far end of it
so that day my dad died i went to a nice
Indian restaurant with my wife, and ordered
some fancy curried lamb dish, don't think i
ever had lamb in a dish again.
