of course it's true. as a member of the barbie fan club i get advance notice of all new developments in the world of barbie (ken inclusive.) it is a far better world than this worrisome orb - at least for one such as myself.

still, you have to be either james bond or ken to make the pastel colored cardigan sweaters work - it didn't take me long to find that out.

Just letting you know, Dino, how much this poem effected me.

I haven't been able to get the theme song out of my head since you posted it. Two nights ago, I was cooking dinner and singing it. My daughter thought I'd gone mad! "What IS that you're singing, Mom?" she asked. She'd never heard of Mr. Ed.

So, I had to take her to the computer and we ended up watching parts of several Mr. Ed episodes and listening to the theme song a couple of times.

Believe me, it was a night to remember! Now we both can't get the darn thing out of our heads.

And that show was lame, yanno?

Thanks very much for some good wholesome family fun. Sure does make me miss the 60s when the entertainment was so .... how shall I say it? .... hmmm.... mindless?

It's a wonder we're all not zombies after sitting in front of the TV through that decade.

it was lame, but i kind of like those shows in retrospect. mr. ed has it's moments. it's on when i wake up - around 530 in the morning - that's a good time for it. either real late at night or early in the morning, when your mind is less focused on the "real" world. thanks doreen.
