thanks for reading and for the nice comments. nice to meet you happy trails. yes, joel, i agree about those lines - i think that is the beauty of folk music - how it extends from the environment - from the life of the culture in question. i listen to bluegrass, for example, and i'm in the hills of appalachia or on a farm with chickens running about as a dog chases a goat and a pig wallows - these natural rhythms of life that are expressed, and then translated into art.

Miss you a lot my man.....thanx for the wealth of poetry you left behind for all of us to bathe in....a hot bubble bath of unique expression....sinkin' down low this morning, and feelin' good
