sometimes she wants me
sometimes she doesn't
but i'm always welcome
when she slams the door
i hold no grudges, i'll always love her
and though i'm lonely, i won't ask for more

she loves me then she leaves me
to me, it's one and the same
i'll be damned!
the more i think of it
the more it's just the same

her voice is deeper
her arms are hairy
my father told me
watch out for this kind
but i was young then
perhaps he's joking
i thought it over
and said never mind

she loves me, then she leaves me
to me, it's one and the same
i'll be damned!
the more i think of it
the more it's just the same

it sounds as a sort of ominous (inner-outer?) damnation that is somehow pleasent... yeah, life is weird sometimes..!

it's an inverted damnation - a blessing wrapped in a curse.

nothing it seems comes without attached hairy arms that complicate, then frustrate and please with one swipe....a fine tribute, and a damn good poem
