sea-haggis

she rode the spanish main
cut-throat booty and barnacle bills
ahoy matey, avast and then some
bloody swath o'er the blue caribe
sails akimbo - belay that order!
no scullery maid was she
in tortuga, they speak of her
in lisping monotones and nervous stutter
she pocketed the town - even the butter
belay that rhyme! tonight we sail
beneath the guns of navaroni
there, in the bay of tobleroni
we'll put the mac in macaroni
and sail against the allemagne!
for haggis and glory, no quarter given
no, not even a dime this time
for we are not financially driven

all aboard the Lady Haggis
she isn't the type to braggis

She stares out to sea from the bowel
don't expect her to throw in the towel

she's got that intestinal fortitude
and as Truck mentioned, has no boredatude

she pounds the waves of bloody hunger
wishing you were a lot younger

makes you walk the plank fast as you can
needing some juicy bait to lure a Real merman

profit for the prophets of poetry

money for nothing
money for fun
nice work if you can get it
I have heard that it is also lonely
