another year aims for the door
then tries a window

year's slipped in
a backpack of lessons
fading fast

Got a drink to freshen.
There's a party in session.
Dance thru the gate to a new date,
even while spinning in space ...

i've been breathing for
awhile now
so certain things seem as constants
but nothing is constant
everything is filled with wings
everything is filled with rhythm

finally up
feels no different
only the number has changed
waiting for the axe
to fall
time to see whats open
out there on the streets

Well, fiddle dee dee, it's another year:

Dirty windows, dirty windows, well I have a few,

Now that it's a new year I'll clean up one or two,

With cleaner windows I'll have a better view,

Do tell, you say, so what else is new?
