Barefoot Spring comes dancing across the grass,
tambourine in hand,
a wreath of yellow jonquils
in her tumble of chestnut curls...
Her graceful feet whirl heel and toe,
to the rhythm of the happy jingle jangle
as the many-colored ribbons on her tambourine
go flying--
barefoot Spring dances
through my psyche
and I dance with her,
new leaves caught in my hair.

Re: Spring
your poem reminded me to Dylan & Boticelli at the same time (with jazmines & paraísos´s perfume included!), beautiful!

Re: Spring
Thank you, Judith. Now I know why Australians don't remind me that it's autumn, not spring! ♥♥♥
Arcadia, lovely to share our wonderful spring, except we wish, oh, HOW we wish it would rain! ♥♥♥

As much a joy to read as the book that, yes, I received and read and enjoyed!
