haunted by dreams
those ethereal nighttime visions
surreal tales
the mundane in drag
gibberished messages
like the white knight talking backwards
long ago visions
of unknown import
whose memories persist
long after the war was fought...
the severe white church on a hilltop
the steep ocean beach at night
my father driving in circles
the talking dog
secret rendezvous beneath a highway on-ramp
evil moss-covered ruins...
what did they mean?
dead-sea scrolls of the mind?
a voynich catalog of trivia?
night after night
I wait
for the next clues
and they arrive -
inscrutable as always
banality
disguised as profundity
or vice-versa
dream on

Re: dream on
great description of the indescribable
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

Re: dream on
I lke this !
personally
the only good thing about cancer
treatment
is the vivid dreams
which I remember upon waking
at night, I've even gone back into the dream
I was having upon waking
I would'nt say
it's worth getting cancer for
but it's pretty great
not that I can offer you
a clue to knowing more than when I went to sleep
So I can be no help to you roy

If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Re: dream on
saw, wd, thanks
been dreaming about work a lot, or at least that's what it feels like when I awaken. I can't remember details, just the Vibe - familiar faces, feelings, even the office layout (with some creative additions)... and it's always my penultimate job, not the last one. Which doesn't surprise me...
