To love you as if necessary (last one for this string)

Post by joel » June 16th, 2007, 11:38 pm

To love you as if necessary for
my simple own existence isn't all
my highest aim in love--but isn't yet
too far removed from such. You needn't my
affection for your worth for any more
than I'd be less than well without you, but
I only claim my wellness as a soul
as I adore you: faithful, full and whole.
Necessity aside, I love you--what
I am, what ontological and pure
I need and claim for being, loves you. I
may only hope you comprehend; forget
my words if they confuse, but please recall
my thesis: You, I love You, I adore.
