the hardest faith is the belief that we are real,
that my lungs can bullet breath through lips to fill balloons for a childs hand to hold and dream, i've done it, forgotten it, drawn sketches that look like readings from a seismograph, and the earth moved and it was good, and the blood sang and i swayed to it, tracked its movement with my bones shimmering in the twilight, to dance and be dead, amazed with light because we want it within, fascinated by keys because we want to fit something, something to fit inside us, to turn and pivot and open

this excited me. I haven't been excited by what I've read for quite a while.

"my lungs can bullet breath through lips to fill balloons for a childs hand..."

"amazed with light"

this was lovely to read, and relative to my current emotion.

the hardest faith is the belief that we are real
i just heard a story by Chang Tzu
he was walking along to see this special tree he had been told about
when he got there he saw that the trunk was only a bunch of roots extended upward
the branches were also like twigs and knotty
the leaves were bitter
so he thought
this tree is not good
and walked away, until he came to the edge of the shade cast by the tree
and realised, wow, what a shady tree
the tree is ok just as it is

we are the same
only we want to discriminate and value our worths
but we are already worthwhile
and need to drop those discriminating valuations
impposed upon us by our agressive conditioning
and just be
i'm on a survival mission
yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om
