You didn’t never plan to leave, you fool, you bastard

You didn’t never plan to leave, you fool,
you bastard—like the watercourses of
the Negev, I’d relied on wetted flows
when all too often desert mud was more
than moisture you afforded – Jesus Christ –
my expletive and what I pray. You left
as if your wanderlust allowed you leave
me guiltlessly. You culpably deceive
me unexpectedly: my rock-love cleft
as much a fortress as a grave—and spliced
in such confusing mental scenes of gore,
of glory and of mourning. I suppose
your run-off pains were worse than mine; but love
abandoned, as is mine, is deadly cool.

Now I'd like to hear Joel record this!
It's beautifully sit-up straight.
I mean....yeah,...it's a rush!
Eyeball Ovations!
