I can touch you only with the corona of time

Post by Perdida » August 11th, 2007, 12:29 am

I can touch you only with the corona of time
as if my hands are like those of a clock, stretched out
and trembling the currents of a moment that hold
the smack of your kisses, beloved.

With each breath, you are the wave of all waves
and with each wave, you carry me, amorous one
with the will of thunder, the harmony of fishes and
the cry of words, that lay silent between us, beneath
this poppy-eyed sky.

Do you remember the trace of tiny stars…
how consumed they were by your loveliness?
how the night touched the shoreline, and held us
until daybreak?
