Immersed in good, clean thoughts; a-burst in sturdy values and fries,
When some hipster pollster said elections are of style, over the wise.

There was a segment on Giuliani; his affairs and his wives,
And are they fair targets against the office for which he strives?
His children estranged; a scene outta range of our strong family value drives?
Let 'em be, says Rudy Steel Eyes; none of your business, our personal lives.

And Clinton agrees.

It went on from there; bullets and targets and campaign-a-tosis.
Sleep-talking, streetwalking a-hacka-hacka-docious.
Not one nod to an issue; so much bounteous mud;
Celluloid stars to elect, with a fury and thud.

There I go again.

Then I saw that psychosis; those brown sniffing noses,
And with this we must yet contend, for over a year.
But it always gets down to poison smeared roses,
and it's been one long season 'round here.

Abortion's always a tough one for me... but it should be left alone by the many self-appointed would-be arbiters of righteous morality. Definitely. To wreak vehement concern and violent havoc over the unborn and show indifference to the plight of poor children reeks of hypocrisy... agreed, jimbo.

And our drug laws-- pot, especially-- are outta control. Have been for awhile...
