I think you have difficult job Joel, even if it is a labor of love. I am very grateful for your poetry. I think about your work week and the rituals included in that, weddings, funerals, births, life and death.

I am grateful that you have your gift for poetry. I can understand it better than I can the Bible.

i miss my typewriter
the simplicity of loving god
since the computer
divorse
massive education
i had to move to the jungle for awhile
to be with Creator
the books i read, countless...
are now under my skin
i have had time
to atone for my sins
everything i did
has been done to me
guess thats what he meant
when he set us free
had to go to the tree
a few times
found the right medicine
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
