Oregon sunshine

Post by snowman » April 22nd, 2011, 11:06 pm

clouds roll over the mountains
like a well aimed strike
on a Brunswick lane

moisture fills the air
like a glass overfilled
spilling its refreshing ambrosia

dry ground embraces intrusion
with welcoming eagerness
grass awakens ,plants revive

sun peaks through clouds
like a child playing hide and seek
smiles not quite finished counting

rarely have we seen''' people happy without sun...
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
