Is God mad?
is this what every sane person asks
do birds sing on a spring day
do bombs fall like Jesus tears?
do the railroad tracks go into infinity
the long stare of the cosmic bum
into the distance of the crushed butt sun
is the shit stew blessed with bird droppings
is the shit stew blessed with rain from heaven
do leaves fall like so many maps to eternity
that really are poems
If God is mad then we cannot expect to transcend
we can only know God by becoming mad then
and making poems as foot notes to his divine psychosis
as we can never really know if God is mad or not
we can read scriptures and cyphers
we can read the chaos writing on the skid row wall
the words written on the bottom of our shoe
by devils and fallen christian soldiers
we can pray for the farmers that commit suicide
in India and we can pray for all the child whores
in Africa child mercenaries and child witches
we have a great mad God to help all those
sort it all out and pass the blessed ammunition
and pass the shit stew with tiny bits of holy book to flavor
we can savor the irony and the chunks of mad cow meat
found in the dumpster behind jack in the box
God has come through again he just woke up in the park
some cop on the beat told him no sleeping on the bench
he gives the cop a mad look and drags his bones down
to the shit soup line as followers sing old time religion songs

No I would say God is not mad, he just likes practical jokes

is God mad? mmm maybe- but the whole 'i wanna ' thing- i mean no one made me do it- so- is he mad at me? or is he just another guy trying to get a movie made? i dunno- i have a different belief system - the God guy- - my friend said' if it is a guy behind a desk i just want one shot at knocking him out' he was an angry man- and that would be the best he had to offer anyone= let alone God- there was a time when i just prayed to the most awesome biggest God there is.... GREAT POEM-

Ha, just wrote this in like ten min, like a knock off
I have thought a lot about religion and politics
I prolly write poetry to give it another view
I just like playing with concepts, like John Lennon
said, "God is a concept by which we measure our pain"
Of course I'm always thinking that war is peace, and
that is why we have perpetual war.Back in 69' we sang
give peace a chance, here we are in 2013 and we have
yet to see any chance.But there are people like Bradly
Manning, who dared to expose the truth about the masters of war.
