scratch an itch

Post by the mingo » October 20th, 2014, 8:23 pm

i'm trying to scratch an itch
just below my left shoulder blade
but can't reach it
i used to be able to reach it
with either arm easy
now i can't reach it
with either arm
easy or hard
i used to view everything coming down the pike
with wonder & some excitement
now i view everything coming down the pike
with certainty & i have not been
disappointed in years
the difference between wisdom & truth
is that wisdom is subject to change
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

well expressed....I've been stretching every morning to try to maintain some sense of flexibility....and it does help

" the difference between wisdom & truth

...............Yes.................
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

When my palms itch, I make a bet w/someone. Anything.

Almost two poems here. I like them both.
