Somewhere between the old news
the new news
the good news
the bad news
is a tipping point
that's what keeps me typee type typing
maintaining a perch on the tip
just there
thinking about nothing but sky and the clouds
Lonely
Well von Richthofen was brave
i have heard that is a lonely business

the Jam!
so especial (Spanish)
when it's sticky
speaking Spanglish
once more
grass needs cutting ( in Hyattsville)
but it's raining
all weekend
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

Thanks, I'll Eat it Here

eats and beats
the best I can
limp after the poets of studio eight
who honor this place with there presence

jam and cram
as I can
another equinox
another season in the world to come

Got a little Dr. Seuss on ya yesterday.
Will not eat green eggs and ham...
But maybe some green chile.
Road trip comin' up, gotta go to
New mexico, then
Hit the road..

when I get confused
when I get frustrated
and can't jam worth damn
I listen to those big trucks whine
now that my trucking days are done
I pray/talk to St Jack

these forlorn rags don't bother me that much jack
its the decrepitude makes me blue. I have run out of road.
I was freaked about the end of the road when I first came to litkicks
now 15 years later I am still trying to escape that road yearning.
All I got left is
bikes and jams
and my electric toothbrush
that's all I need
and spring time at studio eight
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
a little traveling music for ya
looking forward to reading your log book for the trip
happy motor-vatan

I'm goin' to try. Try...
to go... coast to coast.
40-- the trucker's road--
would be fastest, but I
always wanted to see
Austin... Or the Saint
Louis Arch, or Memphis,
but not so much the
long cornfields.
So many roads.

Down the road
Keep on chooglin'
Down the road
To the next town
Down the road.

Singing as a clown
Down the road
To be canoodlin'
Running down the road
In an old sedan
Riding in the car.

Down the road
First town on the left
Down the road
Where the road makes a cleft.

Down the road
Toward old Chattanooga town
Down the road to RIverbend Festival.
It's close to that time again
Best wishes to everyone I send. 8)
