There. Is. No. Problem.
There. Is. No. Problem.
There is no problem,
everything's pleasant malls.
The Army's already all over it,
like smart bombs blooming as
white flowers on teevee, 1991.
We're all good again.
We crossed some sorta line with
Fat Man, always wonder about the
second one but I could be wrong,
in fact I was born that way, with
wrong blood in my veins already
in debt, but the Army's already
on it, thank god.

We made it alright
I wonder at how we are made— fearfully and wonderfully

A Canticle for LeibowitzFiat Voluntas Tua
Listen, are we helpless? Are we doomed to do it again and again and again? Have we no choice but to play the Phoenix in an unending sequence of rise and fall? Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Carthage, Rome, the Empires of Charlemagne and the Turk: Ground to dust and plowed with salt. Spain, France, Britain, America — burned into the oblivion of the centuries. And again and again and again. Are we doomed to it, Lord, chained to the pendulum of our own mad clockwork, helpless to halt its swing? This time, it will swing us clean to oblivion, he thought. ~ Ch 25

Canticles from the end, and Cantos from Pound in his Tribulation Century, good hell right here on terrafirma. Worship the wars, worship it dammit, worship their stones.

Re: There. Is. No. Problem.
The only problem is a lack of imagination
I needed the poetry thank you

Trakl had too much imagination. For this reason he couldn't stand war, which arises above all from a monstrous lack of imagination. "1 --Franz Kafka

Good capture.

TY Jack & Terry. (Among other things) I had the Terry Gilliam flick Brazil In the (fairly distant) back of my mind-- the oblivious "pleasant malls"...
