the maid didn't show up again
that's the 7th time this week !
oh yeah, that's a fantasy, I forgot
I don't have a maid, but can't I dream ?
....when I look at that pile of dirty dishes
stacked in the sink like garbage at the dump
or all those little dust bunnies hopping around
to the slightest whoosh of air....what harm
is there believing in magic, I mean maybe
I can learn to wiggle my nose like Samantha,
maybe i can teach myself telepathy and move
that vacuum cleaner across the floor, I have
plenty of time on my hands these days
for learning something new....Well, it's like this
It's either going to be magic or Spanish,
I can't decide.
