the powers that should not be
are paying Russian roulette
with a loaded revolver

They dropped a 20 million dollar bomb this week and obliterated a mountainside or two and 20 people or so in afghanistan, all courtesy of our extorted funds, and this counts as good news. What happened to philosophers? Murdered by the noise and sold for scrap value.

artists are the sympathizers, the ones whose empathy is transformed into works that provoke a response of some kind....they feel the madness, so they write, sculpt, paint....and they often simply show the beauty...the flip-side of insanity....
